7 Month Recap in 7 Days: May Snapshots + Alysse and Jake's Wedding

Apparently we didn't do a whole lot in May but here are a couple snapshots :)
1. I love him. 2. Brewer's Game with Fisch's Family

The craziness of summer started right away June 1st with a trip to Minneapolis for one of my best friend, Alysse's, wedding.  I have known Alysse since middle school and she is the kindest most genuine person I know.  Her and her husband, Jake's, wedding reflected them as a couple so well.  Fisch and I actually took notes at the end of the night on things we need to remember for our wedding!
1. The first time I cried when a friend put on her wedding dress. 2. Ceremony was held at the Mill Street Museum. 3. First kiss as Husband and Wife 4. Cute favors 5. First Dance 6. High School Friends. 7. I mustache you a question. Aren't we adorable??

Wedding Planning

So just to warn you all there is going to be a lot more wedding stuff on this blog from now on.
Fisch and I have finally gotten this wedding planning thing started...you know, after 6 months of being engaged.

My good friend Linda was in town for Thanksgiving and I was finally able to ask her, in person, to be a part of my wedding.  Since she is a follower of this blog (Hi Linda!) I wasn't able to share how I "popped the question" to all my lovely ladies...something I actually did in July at our engagement party.

Besides being pretty "stationary" for my "proposal", the paint strip also shows the color palette for my girls dresses.  They can choose their own dress, as long as it is one of those colors.

I think everyone enjoyed their ring pop as well ;)

Last weekend my parents threw Fisch and me an engagement party at their home in the Lake Geneva area.  The day was filled with good food, drinks, yard games, chatting, roasting marshmallows until midnight, and even some free fireworks from a different party down the lake! It was so fun having our families meet and having our closest friends celebrate with us.  We had a such a great time and are so thankful to have so many wonderful people in our life :)
