Snow Day!!
We are on snow day #2 here in Madtown. Yesterday, the blizzard dumped approx. 18 inches of snow on us. Although it reeked havoc on the city, it sure is pretty outside :)
School was obviously canceled but even Fisch didn't venture to work yesterday. The day was spent cleaning, addressing our Christmas cards, wrapping presents, watching Christmas movies, baking, and ended with old fashions in front of the fire. It was a wonderful start to my winter break :)

Wedding Planning
So just to warn you all there is going to be a lot more wedding stuff
on this blog from now on.
Fisch and I have finally gotten this wedding
planning thing started...you know, after 6 months of being engaged.
My good friend Linda was in town for Thanksgiving and I was finally able to ask her, in person, to be a part of my wedding. Since she is a follower of this blog (Hi Linda!) I wasn't able to share how I "popped the question" to all my lovely ladies...something I actually did in July at our engagement party.
Besides being pretty "stationary" for my "proposal", the paint strip also shows the color palette for my girls dresses. They can choose their own dress, as long as it is one of those colors.
I think everyone enjoyed their ring pop as well ;)

W(ish)W: Adult Swim at the Madison Children's Museum
Saturday, Fisch and I went with our friends Alicia and Wade to the Madison Children's Museum "Adult Swim" night. No, there wasn't a pool but there was a childrens museum absent of children and full of adults acting like children. I was the best!
P.S. I also found out Fisch had never heard of folding a paper "hotdog way" or "hamburger way". I thought that was universal knowledge! Blew. My. Mind.
How did you learn to fold paper in elementary school?

WW: Happy Birthday Adriana!
Last Saturday, we celebrated Fisch's sister, Adriana's, 18th Birthday. It made me feel old since I remember when Fisch and I first met we bonded over having little sisters in 4th and 5th grade.
Happy 18th Adriana!
